Photographer / Model COLLAB
Next: Sat 18 July 2026 - 9am to 2:30pm.
Location: Woolloongabba, Brisbane.
Theme: Quirky Editorial

If the image below resonates with you, SROLL DOWN for all the details.
The focus of the July 2026 collab is QUIRKY EDITORIAL and that means you have to come with some outfits that POP, and some accessories that may be out of place with said outfit - but very in place for this photoshoot. We can chat if you have any questions about how we can put the outfits and set up together..

Location: is in Woollongabba central area, it is all-weather building with a multiple bathrooms, a small kitchen, and a great area where we can have two sets going at once. There are also some great outdoor spaces if the weather is good - and I have never had an issue parking, but public transport is close by.

Numbers: MAXIMUM of four models on a delayed time schedule (see timings below), and four photographers (myself being one of them).

Cost: is a nominal fee to help cover the cost of the site hire and required insurance for the site. It is $30 for models and $60 for photographer. The models are there for 2hrs, and photographers for 5 to get both rotations of models. You must pay (bank transfer, bpay, or other) before your spot is locked in - this also helps to ensure people actually turn up on the day, because no shows can make the day very difficult to achieve. (if you are genuinely sick I understand but let me know ASAP, not on the morning if possible).

Timings: Two models will arrive at 9am and be ready to go at 9:30am and finishing at 11:30am. And two other models will arrive at 11am and be ready to go at 11:30am, and finish at 1:30pm.

Photographers will arrive at 9am and finish at 2pm (with 30min set up and pack up time at each end).

YOU MUST BE ON TIME as being late, or not showing up has a flow on effect to everyone else - so maybe aim to be early..

How it will run: Each photographer will get a minimum of 30 minutes one-on-one time with each model, and I am formulating a rotation plan so that models can focus on just ONE photographer at a time, and the photographer has the models undivided attention. That is what I believe to be the best way to get great shots...

What to bring: (models) yourself and your outfits, you do your own makeup and hair, and you can bring some accessories to the session. (Photographers) your camera and lenses of choosing, small mobile battery lighting. I will have godox lighting and some softbox options which will require you to have a Godox trigger for your system to fire the lighting, and I will have one 300W Continuous light with RGB that does not require a trigger. For more detailed equipment info get in touch with me.

What you will get from this: Some new connections with other creative people, some great images, and a cheap, safe, and fun few hours to kick off your weekend.
Agreements: due to past lessons learnt - I am putting together new agreements now which will cover safety for all, and to ensure everyone gets some images from the shoot but remain in alignment with image ownership and respectful release of images for all to get maximum benefit.
