The purpose of this collaboration event is to provide photographers, models, makeup artists, stylists and other creatives with an opportunity to collaborate, create portfolio content and network.
This is a collaborative event and does not constitute employment. This is a non-for-profit event and any moneys from attendees is used to cover the cost of venue hire, minimum required public liability insurance, and any props or other consumables for the event.

- By attending this photography collaboration, participants consent to being photographed or recorded while at the venue. These images and videos may be shared on websites, social media or other promotional material relating to the collaboration.

Photography Sessions
- All participants must always conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
- Treat every participant with the same courtesy, dignity and respect you would expect for your own loved ones.
- Do not touch other participants or adjust their outfit in any way without first getting very clear consent.
- Do not intentionally capture images that compromise a participant's modesty or would reasonably be expected to embarrass them. If such images are identified, they must be deleted immediately.
- Do not ask for, capture, or pose in a way that could be considered nudity or sexual content unless the collaboration theme indicated otherwise and ALL models and photographers agreed before attending.
- Incidental physical contact may occur during normal collaboration, such as briefly touching arms while viewing images on a camera. Such incidental contact is not generally considered inappropriate. However, repeated, unnecessary, intentional physical contact is unacceptable. All participants must respect personal boundaries and immediately cease any physical contact if asked.
Images
One purpose of the collaboration is for everyone to have some creative images they can use for their portfolio. Photographers must make a genuine effort to ensure each model receives portfolio-quality images from the collaboration. Collaboration events are built on mutual benefit. Participants who are unwilling to contribute to that shared outcome should reconsider whether this type of event is appropriate for them.
- After an initial cull, photographers provide each model with a proof gallery of at least ten images within 14 days and allow the model to provide feedback on which images (min 5+ images) they would like to see edited and released.
- If the photographer or model cannot provide a suitable number of images, they must communicate the reasons with the other party and, where appropriate, provide sample images to explain the circumstances.
- Proof gallery can be low-resolution watermarked proofs. The final release images are to be in JPG format suitable for social media posting with no watermarks.
- No RAW or straight-out-of-camera (SOOC) images. Photographers retain complete creative control over the editing and final presentation of their work.
- Models must not alter, apply filters to, or otherwise edit the photographer's final images except for cropping or resizing to suit social media platforms.
- To ensure appropriate recognition for all participants, photographers and models must not combine images from different photographers or different models in the same carousel, slideshow or video unless ‘each image’ clearly identifies both the photographer who created it and the model featured. Wherever practical, posts should showcase the work of a single photographer featuring a single model.
- Images may be used for personal portfolios, websites and social media. Commercial licensing, sale or other direct profit from the images requires the written consent of both the photographer and the model.
- All images shared must provide some kind of link back to the model / photographer’s social media accounts.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright in all photographs remains with the photographer in accordance with the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). Nothing in this agreement transfers copyright ownership.
Concerns, complaints, and feedback
- Participants are encouraged to raise concerns, complaints or feedback with the event coordinator as soon as reasonably possible.
- Participants who fail to comply with this agreement may be asked to leave the event and may be excluded from future collaborations.
All participants must sign before starting at the event.
