Collaborations

Sometimes it is just nice to get creative with other creatives.

We arrange collaborations at various community halls, outdoor locations, and private studios around the Brisbane and SE Qld region.

The primary goal of these collabrations are:

  1. Connect photographers with photographers, models with models, and build cross connections.

  2. Learn from each other, and develop skills and confidence in ones craft.

  3. Build a portfolio without having to pay significant $$ to do so.

  4. Create a community of creatives who help and support each other.

  5. Add value to any sponsers who would like to sponser an event.

Cost

These collaborations are not-for-profit and any cost to participants is to cover the hire of the site, public liability insurance, shared equipment, and any props being purchased to run the events. My hope for the future would be that businesses and brands sponsor the events with money, products, and sites which we could use for our events - and in return promote the sponser in any advertising and social media posts. If you are one of those businesses - get in touch!!!

When

We try to do at least one event each month (on a weekend), and timings vary. Moving forward - if demand requires, we can certainly look at doing more.

Participant Numbers

We limit the numbers of models and photographer not because we want to, but for the comfort of everyone attending. It is not comfortable for anyone when you have 10 photographers all jostling for a chance to get a model to look their way for that cracker image.Therefore we limit numbers based on location, and a strict photographer to model ratio of 2:1.

The expectations

Give more than you seek to take - and in return should should get the same back from others.. A full set of expectations for both models and photographers can be found HERE. Anyone not abiding by those rules and exepectations may be asked to leave, and will not be permitted to attend any future events. Please have a look at them and ensure you are willing to comply before signing up to an event.
