Collab Event
Build. Connect. Create.
This isn’t just a photoshoot collab
- it’s a creative incubator.
Why you should do this:
Connect with other driven photographers and models
Strengthen your technical and creative skills
Create high-quality portfolio images without a heavy financial investment
Gain confidence directing, posing, lighting, and collaborating
Become part of a growing creative community.
Where else can you have 4 photographers capturing images for your portfolio, or have 4 models helping you improve your photographic skills by posing for you - it is a win win for everyone!!!
Financial Contribution
To keep it sustainable and fair, everyone contributes a small financial contribution — nobody is paid.
Your small financial contribution demonstrates a commitment to turning up on the day and supporting the growth of the industry, but it also covers
Venue hire
$10 million public liability insurance (required for the venue)
Lighting (Godox strobes), LED lighting panels, stands, fans, etc.
Props and set styling
And any general event costs
Left over funds are reinvested into future events.
Models will also get a minimum of 5 images per session from each photographer within 2 weeks (you hear that photographers!!)
This is our start-up price - it may increase soon, and spots are LIMITED so be quick to not miss out on your preferred date. Spots are not locked in until payment is made.
Photographers: only $100 (Full 5-hour event)
Models: only $50 (Single 2.5-hour session) $100 (Both sessions / full event)

Themes
I am still playing around with theme ideas. And the first people to book for one of the events will get some input into what we will run with. Some of the themes I have in mind include:
Fitness / workout - Get some boxing gloves on the sweat dripping, and get those muscle tones popping.
Music / rock ‘n’roll - we could get a guitar, drum kit, and get a local band as models.
Vintage / Retro Glamour / Rockabilly Outfits - Classic timeless portraits.
High Fashion Minimalism - Clean, magazine-style images with strong poses.
Street Style Editorial - Urban fashion photography inspired by fashion week street shots.
Flowing Fabric / Motion – Capture movement using fabric, dresses, or scarves. Jumping, spinning, or fabric thrown into the air creates dynamic and elegant images.

Quality and safety is more important than quantity. Numbers are capped to ensure quality interaction and meaningful shooting time, as well as to not compromise on safety with over crowding. Quality is more important than quantity. The aim is to have:

Terms and Conditions
Events like this thrive on generosity, professionalism, adaptability, and respect. And if everyone contributes positively, then everyone benefits.

What to bring
Models
Hair and Make up - Models should complete most hair and makeup before arrival. There is limited space to complete some final tweaks and adjustments, and to change into your outfits. We are seeking a HMUA for small tweaks and adjustments on the day. If that’s you?? Get in touch to see what we can offer in return.
Outfits - If you’re doing one session, then you only need one outfit and accessories (Scarf, jacket, hat, sunglasses, etc.). A top, or dress that only takes a few seconds to change would be ok.
Doing both sessions - then bring a more comprehensive outfit change to use on the second session. We have allocated 30 min between sesion one and session two.
Photographers
Photography gear - Camera / Charged batteries / Memory cards / collaborative mindset.
A Godox trigger is required if you wish to use our provided strobe lighting, as all strobe and flash lighting is Godox-based (Channel 1 for set 1, Channel 2 for set 2, ID set to OFF).
You’re welcome to bring compact accessories (reflectors, gels, small RGB lights, small battery powered stobe such as Godox AD100 or AD200). Please do not bring full lighting kits or backdrops as space is limited and sets will be pre-designed. Minor adjustments to the pre-set lighting positions are absolutely welcome to support your creative desire.
Behind the scenes footage
We will endevour to capture some BTS video (DJI Pocket 3, phones, and other small capture devices) as well as still images - which we will release after the event. This is not a guranteed priority, but a best effort approach.
What to expect on the day!!!
Two setups ready to go. One will feature a clean minimalist backdrop - think grey or white backdrop and a simple stool. The other setup will be more stylised and elaborate to allow a more creative flare. We will also provide some props that you are free to use on each set.
9:00am – 9:30am (30min) Arrival and setup.
9:30am – 11:30am (2hr) Session One
Models are at each set for 50min (20 min break between sets)
Photographers switch sets at the 25min mark to ensure equal time with each model at each set.
11:30am – 12:00pm (30min) 30 minute food and drink break, and transition between sessions.
12:00pmam – 2:00pm (2hr) Session Two
Same structure as Session One.
2:00pm – 2:30pm (30min) Pack up.
Punctuality Matters
Being on time is critical — particularly for models. A late arrival impacts everyone else. Please, please - aim to be on time or early.
Arrive early. Arrive ready. Let’s create something exceptional.
